IEC dance studio’s Baby Ballet Classes – giving every child from 1.5 – 6.5 years of age the chance to dance, shine and have fun!
At IEC’s Baby Ballet, we make learning to dance an unforgettable and magical experience for your little ballerina. Our classes will give your child the chance to dance, gain confidence and shine, in a fun, caring and supportive environment.
By learning through play, our qualified and welcoming teachers give toddlers and young children the chance to dance by using their imagination, having fun and making friends along the way.
This is in line with IEC’s overall vision to educate our next generation in a creative, imaginative and fun way. Students who wish to pursue their formal ballet training can enrol for the Royal Academy of Dance exams later on, either at Alpha Ballet School or Ballet By Nora
Our Syllabus will be based on RAD’s ‘Dance To Your Own Tune’ and ‘Pre Primary’ specifications with elements of the Australian GUILD Speech and Drama and Australian Pre Ballet syllabus
IEC Baby Ballet aims to nurture children’s creativity, imaginative minds and develop coordination through movement, fun and music. Students who wish to pursue exam grades later may do so under Alpha Ballet School or Ballet by Nora; both of whom run the RAD exam syllabus. Students are also encouraged to enrol in IEC’s Speech and Drama weekly course to further develop their performing arts skills.
IEC’s Baby Ballet is in association with Mrs Joan Lu of Alpha Ballet School, the first licensed RAD registered teacher in Kota Kinabalu
