Scholarships for Southeast Asia Region - Semester 1, 2021

I am writing to share with you 2 scholarship schemes for commencing international students from Southeast Asia region. It is a A$10,000 one off scholarship awarded to Southeast Asia region students who will be commencing in RMIT for Semester 1, 2021. The details of the scholarship is as below:

Academic Excellence Scholarship for Southeast Asia students

A$10,000 one off payment to be paid after census date
To be a citizen and applying from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Philippines
Not an existing RMIT student
Applicant with conditional offer will need to meet conditions of their offer before they can be awarded
Applications are now open and will close on 31 January 2020
Scholarship selection is based on academic merit and personal statement
The scholarship will be offered on a rolling basis until exhausted – the applications will be reviewed every month

STEMM Merit Scholarship for Southeast Asia students

A$10,000 one off payment to be paid after census date
To be a citizen and applying from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Philippines
Not an existing RMIT student
Enrol for Semester 1, 2021 in an Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Masters by Coursework offered by RMIT’s College of Science, Engineering and Health
Applicants with conditional offer will need to meet conditions of their offer before they can be awarded
Applications are now open and will close on 31 January 2020
Scholarship selection is based on academic merit and personal statement
